OK Enough, the guy has pissed us all off to one degree or another but this is a little excessive, This is still my thread, I opened it. It is enough the guy got perma banned OK, lets focas on trying to pick up what ever peices we can and move on.

Yop I think Case answered your question earlier, to continue on is futile. Lets discuss what we may want to do in Colonies Three Place and what we are going to do for a Spain in Colonies 4.

I personnaly have wasted enough time on this issue, except I think we need to convince the mods and probally TF that we need a cheater thread a CIVFAN like we have at Apoly. Who is going to talk to the big guy, Case? Darius? I would rather have someone who has been around awhile Im still a relative newcomer.

The thread isn't that important to bother with the mods about, I'll just post a thread with a link to the Apolyton thread and if they delete it they delete it.

Roger that BTW I had Henrik strip the passwords and I plan on giving the file to Yop73 or Ill post it here. That way Yop73 can look at France and see that it is pretty hopeless. I have not looked at it but if Case says so it is good ennough for me. My apologizes about the above post. Overlord did a lot of stupid stuff but he was a fun guy to play with, and this whole incident kind of upset me. A lot of mixed feelings...........

TF and the Mods who run this forum have already stated that they do not want a thread that lists cheaters. It's been tried once and got very bad and then closed (and maybe even deleted...?).

Roger that we tried this evening and SunTzu deleted it. He also explained to me on AIM that there could possibly be legal issues involved, so until we stop making the lawyers so important it probally wont happen.

It's been tried once and got very bad and then closed.

The way I heard it the thread wasn't closed for what it was, but for the threadjacking alone. Then a debate on the subject of a cheaters list sparked soon after in the staff forum at which point the policy started. Still no thread either way, but I thought I'd clarify.

And Steve, since this is apparently over, could you post some info on your 'surprise'? Some stats or a screenshot or both?

Initial wave was I believe 8 boarding parties, two men of war, two galleons, 4 pikemen, 2 conquistadors and merchant ships to carry. You can the fleet approaching here.

About 2 or three turns later. Now I know I probally wouldnt have gotten this far, but as I suspected Ireland was lightly defended, and even if yop took it back within a few turns I would have sold off the remaining buildings and destroyed the ability of the cities to really contribute to the war. That Port in Dublin really was worth a lot of cash Yop! And I may have had enough to cuase havoc in Northern England, not enough as shown but enough to again screw up Englands war effort. This of is a moot point because without the cheating I may have never gotten this army built. So Darius enjoy, tell me how it would have never been possible and then Im zapping the pretty pictures.

Con, what you do is pretty ridiculous.
I had anticipated on the fact that Ireland would be attacked, so I put some ships (veteran Man o' War's) in port Plymouth, to attack any ships that were visible, and they were going on patrol each turn...
And also, I had a quick reaction force ready, ready to attack any city of the English empire within 2 turns...
Btw. I sold 2 ports in the cities of Calais, and Le Havre, and I was about to take Puerto Principe (and a lot of other Caribean Colonies) of you.
So, If you had managed to drop (part) of the invaders, you couldn't have destroyed the city-walls of Dublin, and if you did, I would have killed all the boarding parties the next turn.
Etc., etc., ...

The only way you would have stopped this is if you got my boarding parties, and they were under a man o war, and check out the combat usually when a man o war attacks a man o war it fails.

So I dont think this is ridiculous. Where was this reaction force and more important where was the merchant shipping to carry it?

Plus your bording parties had to be beat up after LeHavre and Calais.

We could speculate forever but the bottom line is the game is ruined and we will never really know.
