This just seemed simple but hey Im new at this and learning as we go along, Sometime I learn the hard way.

Thanks for dilligently playing your turn. Im going to try and keep this one moving. I agree on the AI and ideally it would be great to have 7 people on board but look how the first Colonies PBEM is bogged down. JCN hasn't posted anywhere since the 2nd of October. The more bodies the easier it can break down. Good to have you on board.

The town of Avignon returned home. No longer will these separatists disrupt the unity of France. As soon as my Royal troops entered the city people immediately began to throw their rebellious thought away and waved the Royal Bourbon flag. It's very interesting what soldiers can achieve .

Oh and I get this message:

This is proof enough of which people the so called "Royal English navy" consists of.
Our veteran and well schooled sailors began to laugh as they heard the whole British navy is nothing else but a bunch of criminals and deserters .

By the way "free" Buccaneers for me will come in handy in a few turns. You'll see.

You gonna be able to play tonight? Overlord usually comes on when we are a sleep and Darius and I both need to do our turns.

Personally I don't care either way, but just to let you know again, 48 hours is the accepted bump limit, regardless of how fast a game has been.

I hear ya but I didn't want to stay up till 02:53 this morning!

Basically if we all agreed to this we could get off one turn a day each. Overlord is in Austria and he generally plays in the middle of the night for Darius, me and Academia.

Academia is an hour or two ahead of us in Buenos Aires.

So if Academia tried to play in early afternoon his time (and that seems to be the time he gets online usually) that would give Darius and then conmcb25 the late afternoon and evening to play out turns in our time (CST USA). Then overlord in the middle of the night our time and the cycle repeats.

I realize we cant play CIV everyday and this wont always work. But on the days we do play if we could make a mental note to try and meet this time table we could all get a play in a day! This game would then move pretty quick. And I dont know about you guys but I hate bogged down and/ or dead games.

Just a thought, Ive been doing a little analysis lately. Also if you cant be on-line for a few days just let us know.

Sorry conmcb25 but i think that i´m going to drop out from this PBEM i´m playing too many PBEMS.
Moreover, i have begun another scenario creation project; so i don´t have enough time to play a new game...

I think the Spanish are spending to much time drinking wine and not enough time toiling for there King. Trade deficet is huge!

NoT Much else, moving colonists and trade guys all over. A lost battle with Pirates near San Juan. And moving up units to take Portugal back to its rightfull place in the Spanish Empire.

OK Lets sum up what happened late last evening USA time, Academia dropped out so we lost a Spainish player. This morning USA time YOP73 volunteered to play England if I played Spain, So YOP73 is in and I did a personality change.

So this sums it up with the change in the score card: This is the turn sequence:

Souix: AI
Iroquois: AI
French: Overlord
Spanish: conmcb25
Huron: AI
English: Yop 73
United Provences: Darius (Dutch)

Darius is up next and then we continue the sequence. THIS IS NOT A BUMP. (I know how close you are watching me on that issue Darius) I just wanted to get the turn sequence written down and let everyone know where we stand. Let the rape and pillage of the new world continue.

This turn the forces of the Dutch Republic captured the Spanish port of Antwerp, surprised that they had not been killed during the Spanish turn. Also, a small stack of units was destroyed south of the city. It is our stated goal to annex all of Spanish Belgium, whatever the cost on land and at sea. Their garrisons have one turn to surrender or they will have to be driven out.
