I would just like to take a moment to say a resounding "job exceedingly well done guys" to all the team on 0.16. It looks stunning and runs really well so far, and I'm looking forward to exploring all the knew tweaks in gameplay over the coming weeks.

Kael and co - if you keep this up FFH2 is going to be up there with some of the big commercial releases by the time it's at version 1.0 :goodjob:

I actually don't even have the civ4 shortcut on my desktop anymore, just the FFH one.

I'm not even into fantasy that much (I've played some Morrowind and (unfortunately) Oblivion in my time but I've never written Fantasy or read much of it) but this mod is just too freaking good even without the beautiful fantasy backdrop that it doesn't matter. So well balanced that it makes Vanilla Civ4 and Warlords look like they were done by amatures and it's still in the public beta.

Yes, nice work team! Love it, especially all the new graphics!

And I'm pleased to see that the Ljosalfar are good now.

p.s. - cool screename, Iblis.

FfH2 was the first mod i have ever installed on a game considering that i had always played vanilla games.I didn't expect too much but after playing it i have to say that at this early phase the mod seems already better than vanilla one.
And this mod make me thinking about my 30 euros spent for warlords, compared to the mod, warlords seems just an amateur job.

This seems a good place to say thanks to the entire FFH2 team! I found it only recently (.15) but now I can't play vanilla Civ any more :) The mod is that good and plays like a new game in itself, so thanks for all the effort you've all put into it.

And sometimes it's the little things that add a lot of flavour, like the new unit/hero pics in the .16 pedia. Love it!

That's true for me as well. Warlords did feel like a waste of money compared to the embarrassment of riches we get with FFH.

I decided not to get Warlords on the grounds that FFH doesn't work with it so there wasn't a great deal of point. Like everyone else it seems, I'm pretty much playing FFH exclusively now. I'll get Warlords eventually, probably when it's in the bargain bin (reviewers of it did actually say it didn't add a great deal to the game for the full retail price).

What I'll be REALLY interested to see is whether Firaxis decide to do their own expansion that focuses on fantasy, and if they do how it compares to FFH (of course they may just do the smart thing and buy this mod off Kael and the others, take it off the net and start selling it - although I get the feeling this isn't Kael's style :) ).

I have to say that I really like the Doviello metal thing. It just feels really good and cool.

When I play with other civs I think "Damn, I don't have any bronze. I guess I have to go get some." Playing as them, I think: "Cool, I can make Axemen right away -- and look, getting bronze gives me a special bonus." Overall, it makes it a more happy, positive experience. And it is cool.
