Hello all,
I have a couple gripes with how things ended up with the recent expansions but one of them in particular is the timeline. It was marketed as a way for you to look back on your civ's story and a method you could tell your story. I believe it largely fails to accomplish this if i'm being honest. My current feeling is that involving the timeline so directly in game play systems was a mistake since each entry has to effect era score.
Just as a preface: i'm hoping/suggesting this theoretical mod would allow us to edit the timeline without adding or removing era points.
I'd like to see a mod that adds the start and ending dates on wars to the timeline if possible just as a start but my larger ambition would be the ability to add and edit entries on the timeline to our own desire. This would allow us to truly tell our civ's story and also would be a way to truly immerse ourselves in games we are picking back up after a while.
