to those who have the game, how would you describe how it runs?

so far 85% of people say its at least playable without that much hassle

The only problem I have experienced is that the movies sometimes stop for a fraction of a second. But I suspect that the fault here lies with my graphic card, rather than the game itself...

yeah i have same problem as Jurgen Hubert but im not surprised with my bad graphics card.

I voted 'The Odd Glitch,' but it's mostly slow graphics-the fault, I think of low RAM. It runs fine, but when I switched to the grid, it took awhile.

The other big problem (again, it's my computer, not the game) is that every time I exit the game, the computer says I'm low on virtual memory.

i said odd glitch... but i dont notice it till about the year 2000 when everyone has advance civs.. somethings up down the line...

My only problems are hiccups during vids but that is because of my crappy graphics card.

I said "odd glitch" because there are bugs in the hover help. Sometimes it does not appear. Also, the controls are sometimes not selected when pressed because not ALL of the button is pressable.

Quite some crashes with automatical reboots - most of them when the game is customized and ready to start, once when switching on the grid, once when I wanted to trade with another Civ.
Would be okay if the game simply crashed and I'd find myself on the Windows desktop. But a full reboot is very annoying!

The only problem I Have is the Wonder Movies will sometimes stutter.
Running P4 3.2, 1Gig Ram, GForce 4 6600GT, and an old SB Audigy.

I had two random crashes, full reboot type crashes, not desktop crashes. I'm in the year 1390 ad of my first game. I said the odd glitch in the poll. My crashes didn't seem to have anything to do with turning the grid on or off or the resource overlay.
