TopGun Stealth Upload

Thanks Oz! I still have ALL of my previous units on my harddrive, and I plan on uploading them in irregular intervals. (Yes, I'd like to do that by myself.) The only thing that keeps me from spending countless hours at a pop to upload more in one clip is that my time has become very precious - real life demands my attention quite a bit, and when I do think "Civ", I either make new units for my personal mod (some of which you have already seen posted here,) or tinker with my mod, or even play my mod...

So, please bear with me, guys. Haven't forgotten about y'all... :D

TopGun, thank you very much for all your work and the presents you give to the civ 3 community!

I want to give you a little present in return. :) May be you remember our talk about your Me-410 Hornisse. Here are some pictures how your unit is presented in SOE and WW2 Global Gold edition that will come to the public soon:

Will there be a Pz IV F2 in German colours sometime?

Civinator, thanks for considering "my" unit for SOE... I've always loved that mod!
Re: Pz IV... that is certainly a possibility. What's your expected time frame?

Hi TopGun, it´s not only SOE. The public betatestversion of SOE and the WW2 Global Gold Edition will come as a "double-pack" (I hope this is the correct English word). WW2 Global by Rocoteh is the most succesful scenario of WW II ever done for Civ 3. I got the blessing by Rocoteh to do this graphical update and to give this update the name it carries now. Here you can see some screenshots of the upcoming WW2 Global Gold Edition. It looks like a brandnew scenario:

The civilopedioa entry I posted for the Me-410 is the entry for WW2 Global Gold Edition. For SOE the entry is somewhat different.

Re: Pz IV... that is certainly a possibility. What's your expected time frame?

I don´t post here about the timeframe, as this will be a surprise. :) I hope it will be very soon (depending on problems that are reported by some prebetatesters). If a
Pz IV F2 doesn´t exist yet, it may be too late for a now completely new created unit to reach the public betatest mainfile for both scenarios just in time. In that case the Germans must use Wyrmshadow´s Pz IVs with the Hungarian colouring that are currently in the mainfile as Pz IV F2. :), but the mainfile can be updated by patches or new versions, so there should always a possibility to add new good Ww II units to the mainfile.

TopGun, your Pz IV F1 (and some other of your great units) are of course in the SOE/WW 2 Global mainfile, too.

BtW.: The SOE-team accepts two or three additional SOE prebetatesters. So if anybody is interested, please p.m. me. You need a powerful pc that is able to handle a 1,22 GB mainfile (zipped).

Thank heaven for this. I have been waiting for you to return one day. Just in time for XMas with these wonderful aircrafts.

My personal wish is to see a batch of Japanese WW2 and perhaps some jets soon enough.
(230) Mitsubishi A7M2 Reppu (Imperial Japanese Navy), 1945
(231) Mitsubishi G4M2a hei (Imperial Japanese Navy), 1943
(232) Mitsubishi Ki-2 (Imperial Japanese Army Air Force), 1936
(233) Mitsubishi Ki-15-I (Imperial Japanese Army Air Force), 1938
(234) Mitsubishi Ki-30 (Imperial Japanese Army Air Force), 1938
(235) Mitsubishi Ki-46-III kai (Imperial Japanese Army Air Force), 1942
(236) Mitsubishi Ki-51 (Imperial Japanese Army Air Force), 1939
(237) Mitsubishi Ki-83 (Imperial Japanese Army Air Force), 1944
(238) Mitsubishi Ki-200-I Shusui (Imperial Japanese Army Air Force), 1946

Is from your old list.... Can you imagine it counted over 250 aircrafts. You really got them all and if no conflict pops up perhaps most can once more enrich this DB.
