I'm trying to download a torrent, but it always stops at 1.7%. Why won't it finish downloading and what can I do to fix it?

There is likely nobody on who has more than 1.7% of the file. Either find another torrent or give up.

I'm pretty sure it's at my end because on another torrent downloader bit and utorrent it stops prematurely aswell on all attempted torrents.
