TOS PBEM Game #2

This thread is for tracking the progess of the Typhoon of Steel PBEM
game #2. This is a heavily modifed version of the WW2 Pacific
scenario and can be found here:

This first game was a huge success, you can read through the

The Allies will use a common password system so any one of the allies
can substitute for another.

This is the short game, 35 turns.

Special Rules:
1. No city razing
2. Guerillas cannot be loaded onto ships.

I was going reposition some of the subs and guerilla units to make it
more interesting for Japan, but seeing as Playboy has not tried the scenario
before I think I will leave it as is.

Are you playing the Netherlands again or would you like to try something else?

I would like to try someone else. Basically the Chinese or the English (since I have not played either yet). You may want to change the pt boat to a 5 attack. This would better reflect its actual capability. They were very weak on defense, but they were carrying the same torpedoes as submarines.

Yes, there is room on the allied team, pick a country.

Sorry Eric, but I may have to bow out. I have recently suffered a relapse in my illness. This means that I am mostly out of action. I am still willing to give it a shot so long as everyone is willing to be patient with me (I really hate being the one to hold up games). Alternately, so long as I am an Allied player, when I am too sick to play, I could simply send my turn to one of my allies (if Playboy is agreeable to this).

Rcoutme Can have the Commonwealth if he is still able to play.

That leaves the USA and the Netherlands up for grabs.

Since you are Japan you get to set up the game using
the short, multiplayer .biq file version 2.03 which can be found

No you should have everthing you need from the last game. It is
just the person who sets up the game needs to ensure that he is
using the correct .biq file.

Playboy and Von Diplomacy will have to download the full mod
if they have not allready done so.

Now that the summer vacation season is over, I will try
again to find five players for this game. The previous attempt
to start the game failed when I lost contact with Playboy.
