I walked away from Civ IV for about two years, but recently purchased a new laptop and decided to load CIV IV on there. I also downloaded Bug and BAT and installed those as well - I think - which leads me to my questions.
Is the BUG/BAT something that you have to load or startup, or is it just part of the game once you load the game. Since I have not played the game in a while, I can't tell what, if anything looks different, that would tell me that I was playing the mod (or which mod I was playing, for that matter). I did notice that if you go into the "load a mod" screen, I have a selection for Bat 1.2, but when I click on this, Civ immediately crashes. I am just not sure if BAT is a separate mod, which could still mean that I am playing the BUG mod when I use the game.
Can someone answers these meatball questions:
How can I tell if I am playing the BUG/Bat mod?
How do I know if I have installed the right version of the mod?
Are the mods played together as one "cooperative" mod?
Why is the Bat 1.2 crashing (maybe not a meatball and, maybe, depending on the advice given here, I will just reinstall the Bat 1.2)?
