Total realism, more realistic (please read)

Hi all gyus !
without a doubt this mod is the best non fantastic mod for civ 4 ever.
I tried practically all the main mods here as for warlords and for bts but i have not seen such a variety of units wth the spesific abilities and diffrent looks.
Maybe only one can challenge it the Deversica! with its russian marines look like natural OMON sqauds . I live in russia , i know what am saying .
I suppose you should borrow these unites under your next patch . They look amazing (russian antitank and AA infantry marine :)

Fortunatly I have no more CTD with a miracle .dll file posted / the multple crushes when I was declared a WAR in late game stages forced me stop playin it , now it works good .


As it is written while loading " dont be offended to propose improvements to our mod" , I am not a mod maker but I can propose some ideas for imrovement it to even more realistic .

:lol: if i were a developper I would fist pay attention to cost of infantry / cavalry / spcial infantry / and oil based weel and track units.

First of all there cost should greatly vary !!!!!!!

on late game stages we see that a cruiser/ battleship or carrier is produced the same time as infantry produses.
It should not be by all means .
Inantry is a simple cheap attacking /defence unit is produced on masses. It is killed easily as it appear on battle field(for example cost 100 )

marines are advanced attack ground units as the specific AT team
the should produced more longer (for example 150 points )

wheel trackng units is the counter mesure for both previous with good ability to elimiate both infantry and marines (example 200 points )

armour is the advance unit eliminatng easily wheeled units carries a great ammout of attacking bonuses and should survive easily vs a infantry
and wheeled unites on defence at attack rounds . These armour units are the kings of the ground battle field and should appear rarely and cost significant resources (for example 400 points)

air should have greate starting bonuses against all gound expect for AA teams , helicopter and planes cost should be the same or even higher then armour .

Specilize air units .
Transport aa should b the air transport !!!
it sould carry multiple infantry for long distances whith very good bonuses against all types of units to dliver mass infantry to required position
(for example Mi-8 helicopter carries 15 infantry costs as ground attack plane or helicopter )

Specilize the AA planes. There should be interceptors close range wth high damage , and long ranged AA support )
should be at least 4 types of AA planes

There should be ground attack planes like A-10 thnderbolt or SU-25
working perfecly whith eliminting all ground forces . There should be lethal for infantry and armour but suffer from gound AA forces and Air AA

There should be veeeerrrry long ranged strategic bombers , specilizing on damaging structures !!!! naval vessels and decrease city population and doing low damage for ground units . With good bonuses agains close ranged AA interceptors and low defence bonuses against long range AA planes.

There should be two types of ground AA , the stinger infantry class (good bonus against ground attack planes) and mobile wheled ground AA point defence units with good attack points against long ranged bombers.


There should be at least 4 types infanty
Main (cheap)
Assault ( good attack bonus looow defence)
AT (good vs wheeled armour) low vs infantry
AA good vs heliopters and grund assault planes ....... But this does NOT
mean that a single AA inantry can easily shout down a helicopter that costs two or theree times expensive on 1x1 !!!!!!! or eaily shoot down a grond attack plane that cost 6 times expensive .
Infantry is mass cheap easy to die and easy to produce :crazyeye:

By all means the naval vessells are the longer and most expansive to produce .
Very expansive and there should be a real danger from the waters like in real .

If gorund AA plane cost 400 -500 points . The simple destroyer should cost tow or three time expensive !!!

The carrier should be carrier the clue to victory in the sea
Good bonuses agains subs battleships low vs destroers
Should carry a Great !!!!!!!!!! amount of diferent plane types and cost
great ammunt of money and very long to produce !!



ohh I wrote a lot .. i will continue if U like my ideas .

I think if these balance moments listed and specilized unites are to be added to this mod , it will raise proudly among all the others mods exist :);)
