Tower of Eyes as an explorable lair?

A while ago it was said that the tower of eyes shouldn't be a wonder because it was build to hold Perpentach and therefor it should already exist, so it should be a world improvement. Now that there are explorable lairs the tower seems like a place for a lot of weird stuff to happen.

Nice idea, even though i think the wonder is decent now (since it grants free dungeons everywhere...) and its removal might hurt...

And i feel the game as a whole rather has a shortage of (late) mid-lategame wonders (even though the late midgame part has clearly increased over the last versions. Most recently with the cutting of guilds...)

I went ahead and added The Palus (the Patrian name for The Tower of Eyes) in my version. It is an Epic Lair (like the Broken Sepulcher, Aifon's Isle, or Pyre of the Seraphic), provides Mind Mana, provides a defensive bonus, lets units see up to 6 tiles away, and spawns a pair of Magic Resistant Iron Golems (with animal AI so they don't wipe out civs early) that the Carnies who freed Perpentach failed to disable to guard the prison when you first approach it.

Maybe reaching the Palus could triger an event that gies out free Dungeons Maybe the Luchuip could get a second option, which lets them instead study the Golems that Kyorlin left to guard Perpentach to make all of their golems gain the Magic Resistant promotion. That could be quire useful, as it would let them enter flames (excluding the wooden ones) and Blizzard without problem.

Having Varn Gossam favor Dies Diei seems appropriate. What should Amelanchier favor though? The Grand Menagerie maybe? No one favors that yet, and its seems appropriate that the master of the Ljosalfar rangers would appreciate someone who managed to tame one of every animal.

Replace the tower of eyes with...um...Guild of Chains? Guild of Bars? Hmmm...that last one might get the wrong crowd...
Anyways, seems simple enough to put in some random wonder with the same effect, freeing up the name and historic location for use elsewhere. Something that might be fun would be allowing HUGE line of sight for any unit standing on it. Not exactly thematically accurate to what it did, but it would be a fun effect.

yeah, I guess it would make a lot more sense as a unique feature. MC's implementation sounds good, and I'll second blackmantle when he says that more wonders would be good as well ;)
