Trade Embargos Question

Ok, here's the situation...

I was at war with the Aztecs.
Aztecs enacted trade embargos against me with various nations... England, Egypt IIRC.
As soon as the embargos ended, England and Egypt would immediately declare war on the Aztecs. I had done nothing to steer them in that direction, and they were not in any mutual protection pacts with anyone else.
Is this the result of England's and Egypt's dissatisfaction with the results of the embargo... ie they didn't gain anything as a result, and possibly lost out on dealings with me. As far as I could tell the Aztecs didn't do anything to provoke the war with these two nations.

It dependes on what the rep of the Aztecs, If they had been razeing cities useing nukes or other things then the AI might choose to fight them or you just had a better rep and the AI was going to join anyway and choose your side

Or if you destroyed roads to the Aztecs resources that were in trade with England/Egypt - that would make them upset, as it's a broken treaty. Razing cities, nuking, and disbanding captured foreign troops also reflects very poorly.

The last option would be if maybe a third party offered something to Eng/Egypt that was so good that they were willing to form an alliance against the Aztecs for that great offer (usually a desperately needed & major Modern Age resource).
