I like playing earth maps with a minimum of 20 civs. Usually I pick a Civ from EMEA region since it's crowded there and early game is a lot of fun.. I end up having conquered EMEA and either go for science or prepare to launch to APAC and America

This means I have a lot of cities and a lot of trade routes.

Is there a way to automate trade routes
So I don't have to choose destination for 20+ trade routes every now and then?

Also is there a way to produce absolutely nothing? cause I spam spaceport to stop city management

last but not least, gs does not thrill me so far... Too many distractions going on from the heart of the game.

I think rf offered great value to the game play with loyalty and dark ages but cant see why dealing with global warming and floods is any fun, and world congress imo is there just to be there..resource management makes early war more challenging which is fun for me, and I like game mechanics like canals but really I haven't made it to correctly implement yet

IOd love to play such a bug game on earth. But I dont for the reasons you say.
At least you have queues now.

On trade routes, CQUI mod has had for more than 2 years the option to renew automatically a trade route, so it is "start and forget" affair. They also allowed you to sort the trade route to see which is the best in terms of food, production, gold, science, culture or time to complete. Currently it is not updated and it might a few months to get it operational. I do think there are other UI mods that allow to autorenew trade routes, I will have to check on the Workshop.

On city management, just have them run district projects and fill up their queue with those. You will get gold and Great person points, both are beneficial to your empire.

About Gathering Storm, I think if you put hazards to 0 setting, that should pretty much solve the main issue with disasters and climate change. Please note that the bigger the map and slower the speed (Epic/Marathon), the harder is to trigger climate change and the slower it will happen. So if you play on a huge (or even bigger map via mods), you should see climate change very late in your game, if at all.

Both are issues.
GS has bought little to the table, the build queue I really dislike and WC just makes the game feel like V in a bad way.
Deals have got worse not better. They really need a place where you can state what you will not consider for a deal, it would cut down hugely on screen flash n click.
Disasters I am fine with, you can choose how much they affect the game... I remember I was fighting Lautro along a river and it flooded and killed half of our armies... I loved it, it was a real sense of realism, it does not happen often but is a welcome break to me.
personally they nerfed Victoria again without considering sea walls in the equation, the Museum was fine, the WotW is tiny values at that time. It is only Kupe that keeps me OK.
