Facing pretty demanding terms for buying luxuries from other civs, I was wondering if it is always to your advantage to spend that money. The luxuries do increase happiness and your score, but they also end up funding your rivals' armies and scientists. Is there a balance between cash you should keep for yourself and the amount you're willing to trade to other civs? Thanks--

will if our ally with them yeah its good. because they will help you defeat enemies. but if you attacking a civ. and have them down to 3 cities. ask for everything they can give. i do i ask for one of their cities that i taken and they revolted against and they give it to me and it become uh what the word friendly there. so then you go and ask for more stuff if they don't give in to your wants so then ask for peace and do it all over. then all they will have is the captol. if it is near the coast line bombard it with ships. then gather troops around it. the bad about bombaring it destorys graney civilians and such. there you go.

i think it's good to trade only when they are polite. of course you can use a trade by gpt to prevent them to attack you.
i think that there's an error in this game. when u sue for peace, if they have only one luxury or resource they are using, they will never give it to you, even knowing you are about to kill them! they should give all!
