Trading: AI's Items Section Hidden

This is something I ran across in my last few games, after installing the August patch. It seems that, in the trade screen, the section that lists the AI's items is missing completely at seemingly random times in a game, and not at others. The trade window will be perfectly fine for some turns, but then become hidden for awhile before becoming visible again. This doesn't happen to just one AI, ALL AI's have their items hidden when this happens. Trading is still possible, but it's very difficult. For example, if you want to trade open borders to a friendly AI, you can click on Open Borders and then click on "What will you give me for this", and they'll put their own Open Borders on the table. However, I could not deselect their Open Borders once it was on the table, and I couldn't change it to any of their other items.

I have no idea what's causing this to happen, but I'm pretty sure it's a bug. I have the most recent (August) patch and all DLC installed. Is anyone else experiencing this? I'll post screenshots as soon as I figure out how
