Triggering GA With American UU?

Ok on my current game I am playing my first Monarch level game, as the Americans. I havent had my golden age yet, and its 1918 AD and me and Spain are the only 2 world superpowers.

Anyways, how do I trigger my GA with my F-15? I tried doing bombing runs but succeeding with them didnt trigger it. Do I have to just wait til the Byzantines try to bomb me and hope my F-15 gets the kill and not my SAMs, or do I need to sink a ship or what?

I really want to trigger my GA now since Spain beat me to the Internet.

Either sink a ship, intercept an enemy bomber, or shoot down an enemy interceptor while you do a bombing run.

/Sigh...... Guess I'll have to go looking for some ships to sink.

I think a simple successful bombing run should trigger it. Thats a victory.....

It's the same rules as any UU; you have to kill something. Try and find something redlined and then attack it.

If you play the Americans, you should trigger your GA with Wonders! To wait until the F-15 appears is quite bad
That's one of the reasons I don't like to play the americans
