Trillian?

Thanks to Turner_727's link, I've downloaded Trillian. I've been reading the support forum and learned a lot from it. There are questions that I still have, but I don't want to sign up to that forum just to make 2-3 posts. If anyone here is a veteran Trillian user, I'd appreciate your help.

1) Is there anyway to organize a person into several groups like AIM? For example, I create a group for each club I'm in. If a friend is in more than one club, I'd have him under both groups. Is there a way to do that with Trillian?

2) Is there any way I can access my friends links in their profile without upgrading to Pro? Is Trillian inferior in this aspect?

3) Where can I find a list of smilies? Sometimes I type LOL and it replaces with their icon. Where can I see a list of what's available?

To answer 3- when you click to im someone(double click on their nickname) over the text enter field there is a smilie face. Click on it and there should be a list from which you choose.

Another question. I've download other smilies because I don't like the ones provided. How can install them?

How did you download the smilies? If you downloaded them as part of a Trillian skin, then you can just select the skin. If you downloaded them as bitmaps/gifs/etc, the only way to get them into the program is to write them into your own skin.

How would I do that? Is there a specific program that'll do it? Are there any coding involved, or is it just cut and paste, drag and drop?

Now, I havn't used Trillian for about a month (just cause I felt like it) so some of this might be wrong.
In peoples profile, I think you can copy and paste into you're web browser, unless I'm askng the question wrong.
Why would you need people in 2 groups? I don't think there's any way to add them to more than one group.

Ok, after reading all the great things about Trillian Pro, I finally upgraded to it. But the buddy links still don't work. I downloaded the minibrowser plugin, but don't really know how to install the plugin. Can someone help me with this? I probably don't need to own Trillian Pro, you just need to know how to install the plugin, which I don't know how.
