ive read some threads from other posters

seems that people dont lilke the idea of just having a giant army that can run around the map and camp...etc...

ive read about food suggestion for upkeep. etc..

seems if the mount and blade concept for troop moral wasimplemented it might fix the problem.

your army would need food, but not a must... food + variety=more moral..so the more rare resources you obtain the more moral you have..etc.

larger the army, less moral.

moral effect movement speed. so a stack of 70 units wont be able to move as fast as 10.

Are you talking about morale?

Why would a larger army have poor morale?

Why would troop morale depend on food variety? The Roman army subsisted on gruel every day, and had excellent morale. Besides which, why do you want more slippery slope mechanics, where a larger empire with more resources gains a combat advantage as well?

Well, for some troops at least, food variety would matter.

As for stacks, there aren't going to be any (Thank the maker)

Morale isn't a bad idea, maybe on account of many deaths, or being out-teched.

Why would you want more slippery slope mechanics? You already get punished for taking casualties by losing units, and you already get punished for worse tech by having weaker units.

And we already have war weariness.

From the title, I thought you meant there would be another fighting option: Mercy. Fight the enemy and just get the loser damaged to barely above death and the winner damaged however much he would be, just to represent highly principled soldiers.
