Tropico 6

Tropico 6 got announced a while ago and now after E3 there's a longer trailer.

The second E3 announcement after the XCOM2 expansion that I'm really excited about. Tropico is probably my favorite city builder series and I always wanted to build a city on multiple islands.

The game will also allow you to customize your palace, a feature that I've really missed in almost every Civ game.

I wonder if it will have the extended timespan (colonial era to the modern day) that Tropico 5 had. I never played Tropico 5 (heard some decidedly mixed reviews), but it seemed like a good new addition.

Archipelagos are cool, as are bridges. Not sure about stealing the Statue of Liberty, but hey, Tropico will be Tropico. The new developer seems to be innovating the series a bit more (hopefully). That's a good thing, as I was highly disappointed with the fact that Tropico 4 was essentially Tropico 3.1.
