Trouble with MGE

I have installed MGE with the patch on this site. But when I start the program a boxes comes up where it says:
" ICD3ecompressEx returned -3 "
then you have to push enter for a million times to get them away.

It also happens when I'm about to negotiate with another civ.

Anyone knows what the problem is?

I probably will not be able to help you but some extra iformation may be helpful. Mainly what version of the game you currently have. I tried installing the MGE patch with Test of time and it comes up with about 5 coulour errors that are the same but then it works.

the problem is outdated indeo video drivers. you need to go to www.ligos.com and download the latest indeo video drivers and codecs.

First the airport bug
I don't know how many airports are to be build for the bug appears but when it comes you can't use airlifting any more!!!
When you push 'l' the game crashes..
There's a limit not to be attained (nearly 200 airports!!)
You will have to build 200 cities first of course

And second a diplomacy bug.It happens that Ai asks twice for the same tech advance to make an alliance even if you
gave it before asking the alliance.The gift has no effect except the alliance signed

Are yiou sure you didn't just encounter the city limit?

i have the same problem as Arthedain but downloading the indeo drivers doesnt work, what version of civ do i need to make it work? 2.42?
