trouble with mod games

everytime I want to play a mod-game, it puts in the settings from the scenario: 1066 the viking destiny in.

I cant play any self created games or any downloaded maps.

the scenario overwrites it all, making the only leaders possible, those from that scenario. And modifies my self made maps.

anyone know where its altered or removed?

Try to delete the CONTENTS of cache folder in Documents/My Games/Sid Meier's Civilization V. It should solve the issue.
