Welcome to the TSG150 Opening Actions thread.

STOP - Please do not continue reading this thread until you have completed at least 80 to 100 turns in your game.

This thread is used to discuss the game once you've started playing through your first 100 turns. Apart from normal decency, the only posting restrictions are to please not post videos until the deadline is finished and to use the spoiler tags for screenshots. Here you can post questions related to the game and share your achievements/anger/frustration/victories while you play. Please remember that we are running a family friendly site, so express anger or frustration with this in mind. :)

Please use this thread to discuss your goals for the game and your opening moves through the first 100 turns. Anything after that should be posted in the After Actions thread once you have completed your game.

- Which VC did you initially start opening for?
- What was your opening building/tech/policy order?
- Describe you scouting. What neighbors have you met?
- How many cities did you settle and where/when?

Please use spoiler tags for any surprise details you'd like kept hidden. Thanks.

The AI's are not falling for the worker-baiting trick. I'm losing a lot more units capturing cities than I'm used to (that means they're not accumulating good promotions)

I'm well past turn 100 (about 140) so not gonna give a lot of details. In the first 50 turns or so I had captured Rome, settled 2 other cities, and met China, Sweden, and Assyria. Sweden didn't know about my warmongering, Assyria didn't care, and China hates me. I'm going Liberty + Honor. By turn 100 I had about 5 cities all connected with roads, and I built the Great Wall mainly to keep anyone else from getting it. I didn't bother with Pyramids because I have too many workers already (built one, one from Liberty, and captured a bunch of Roman workers and settlers)

ETA: Turn 300 now. This is a fun one.
