After recieving the save at a particularly late time, warriors were shuffled a bit. Octavian's Guard continued to leave GC territory, but only to reveal the last two tiles in the area.

Our little worker started to build a road to the northern game tiles.

Also, after reading FortyJ's accounts of save use, and a warning posted at 1BC, I've decided NOT to continue the posting of saves. If we ever go v. 1.21f, this would be acceptable.

What did the warning say?

I see 3 GREAT city sites.

Would you care to explain a little more why you wont post the saves anymore??

This was from mongoose, the MSDG admin:
Hi all!!

Just a quick reminder for those who may or may not be aware: If you open your save file and find that you need to consult with your team, Do Not save the game and reload. Just exit out and when you have the neccessary information, reload the save file that was sent to you.

When we can use the new patch, this will not be a concern.

Thanks

And, FortyJ said that when he loaded one of the saves, the turn had advanced.

I may start posting the original saves sent to us instead.

Posting the original would be nice.

Posting the pre-turn save while discussing events that transpired during the turn and debating post-turn topics of discussion might lead to a bit of confusion. While there are only a few units moving around now, in the late game, the appearance of the game at the end of the turn may well be quite different than at the beginning of the turn.

I don't see any harm in posting the save at the end of the turn, provided we understand that all growth and production data will appear as it will when we receive the game for next turn. Either way, there will likely be some confusion, but I believe posting the preturn save will be more confusing than the end-of-turn save.
