I'm afraid we can't keep up after all. :(

World Area: 3% CFC - 5% C3B
Population: 17% CFC - 19% C3B

But we are still stronger than them military wise.

Zoi will have a Settler ready next turn, and will build a city 2W of TF.

Fanatazuma will have a Settler in 3 turns, and I suggest Ryttylä builds a Settler after this Warrior.

Only 19 turns left until we complete the Statue of Zeus! :)

We don't have C3Bs Settlerfactory, but we're still 3rd in Population, Mfg. goods and land area. :)

As the turn ended, our Curragh was attacked by a Saxon Galley. It took some minor damage, but managed to sink its oponent. Still, the Saxons put out another Galley just afterwards. :-/

Do they make Galleys instead of Warriors?

Of other news, it is probable that C3B will reach our island in 14 turns. In 15 turns they may understand that it is an island. Would be nice if we had a city there by then.

There isn't much to say about this screenie. The barbs didn't move, our JT is getting closer and we will have our channel city in 3 turns. :)

So... Settler to the island in 15... is that doable? I mean, cab the curragh get upgraded fast enough?

I suggest we use our Western curragh, it shuold now travel to Zoi for upgrade and take then the settler and a JT with it to settler on the island.

Looks like CGN built a settler again.

You *could* read also the older threads... :p

We are placing as we go, after some discussion.

I suggest we do too. In a chat I had with silver wolf I narrowly avoided telling them, so let's get a claim on it ASAP.

I'm trying to stay un-involved with this, but there's one thing I should point out. Barbarians do not attack you when you are a certain direction away from them. Ie if you are Directly North, East, South, or West, they will just leave you alone.
However, if you go in one of the diagonal squares, they will attack without hesitation. Hence, yer Jav Thrower isn't going to create many workers being on the mountain.

PS: I might have gotten the directions mixed up btw. It could be the other way about...

You can't upgrade a ship without a harbour. I suggest we have production for a galley and a settler ready in ten turns.

I have also heard that it is like you say, I think your directions were right.

Nice to see you still lurking at least. ;)

Exactly. Since upgrading the Curragh would have to wait for a Galley, it is better to build the Galley from scratch. The Curragh continues up along the coast.

Gainy: I believe barbs only attack when you are NW or SE of them? But the question is: Do barb camp produce Warriors when you stand next to them, or is this only producing Galleys??

You could try moving the unit one tile further...

I think they do produce warriors, though.

And you might be right, Cheetah, on those directions... those are ones I've at least seen. If you aren't standing NW or SE of a barb, they'll just sit there... quite stupid. They were btter in Vanilla/PTW.

We could use the city we are going to place 2 tiles w of tf to prebuild a galley. Theres no reason why we can't have a galley the turn after we research mapmaking. Plus theres plenty of trees around there to chop down to speed it along if need be.

...But not enough workers to chop the forest down...

Also, regarding the island. If C3B tries to claim it, we should just tell them to buzz off. I mean, isn't it obvious that it's our island?

The only real stuf that happened was that his name was deleted from the list of our team's players at the UN... :p
