A little alarm bell went off in my mind at the fact that FFH units have far greater movement ranges than in vanilla. I was wondering if this could result in exploitative gameplay.

Obviously it makes pillaging and picking off units for these units much easier, which I imagine was part of the idea.

However in simultaneous turns multiplayer the actual effect can be the reverse. While you are making a quick attack and getting ready to retreat the opponent has window of opportunity where they can counterattack you before you have retreated. I don't think this can be fixed per se but my question is this:

Should we in multiplayer ALLOW this kind of movement and not interfere with it? Not try to quickly get them before they run away.

The irony is I am actually someone who has in my belief abused this counterattacking opportunity and when I am going to use the skirmishing tactic myself I make sure I am as quick as possible to avoid retaliation.
