There always seems to be confusion in the turn chats over what instructions to follow from the various department heads. In the 5/7 chat there was some serious confusion over whether to get a ROP with Greece. The attendees found the answer in one of the polls. I had posted the entire instruction set in the Presidential thread to avoid this situation. I think we need a single, centralized location for all officials to post their instructions.

I propose that a thread be opened for each chat turn. These threads won't be for discussion - that will happen in the department threads, polls, etc. Only instructions for the President from the officials will be posted. This will give the President and chat attendees one place to go in order to see what needs to be done. If instructions don't make it into the threads before game time they won't be official.

Great idea Shaitan!:goodjob: I voted yes and wish I could vote yes a few more times but I think your idea will pass this poll with flying colors.

Definately yes. After the turn chat, I found another post that said "sign an ROP with China and Greece".

Though I don't attend turn chats, this does sound like a supremely sensible idea. It's not always entirely obvious what is actually going to happen in the game, no matter how closely you try to follow the relevant threads.

we should put up further discussion in the forum redisign thread in the main civ3-demo forum. this will one of the points there.

Disorganizer is right. There could be a restructuring of the General Info Forum. A combination of earlier ideas seems to fit this concept of Shaitain's, and this could solve a number of other problems simultaneously.
