Is it possible for one of you guys to post a tutorial on how to make own civilizations. Doesnt have to be complicated: justr how to actually create it, make the special units and buildings, powers and adding pictures. Thanks in advance.

They refer to http://kael.civfanatics.net/files/ModdersGuide.pdf but they also say it's outdated so idk. It's really confusing for noobs like us.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to edit an existing civ. I searched and one of them was showing how to change leader heads but he seemed to already have the "mod" created. Another thread said don't edit the real game files too risky, so make a mod. But idk how to make the mod. I copy and pasted the DLC Mongolia into ModBuddy and renamed the civilization Test to see if that's how you do it but it doesn't show up in my game to load. This stuff is hard for noobs. It must be hard or something because I remember in civ 3 there were tons of units and stuff on here but there's barely anything when I look.

That guide is not outdated, it takes a bit of time to understand so don't expect to be churning them out every day.

I'm also currently making a template to speed up the process of making civs so when I've done that I'll post it in the tutorials section, keep an eye out for that

Yes it is. It fails to mention VFS import at all and the ArtDefines stuff is now all done via database updates and not by editing the existing files, among other omissions/errors
