UI mods

Hi all!

I’ve been playing Civ for a few years, since 4, but have never modded.

I’m diving in a bit deeper with R&F and have been looking at guides and watching YouTube walk throughs and am definitely wanting to start adding some mods.

Mainly looking for UI mods to make gameplay smoother rather than mods to change game attributes.

Any suggestions? Favourites? Dislikes?

And where do I go for them? Is steam the best place and then to basically use them as DLC? Anyplace besides steam and still able to be safe?

If you never modded i suggest you to start small:

Since ui mods are a little more advanced and require some previous experience, imho.

Are you looking for mods to use in play, or are you looking to learn how to make mods?

Your OP is a bit confusing on this point, and I think raen understood you to mean you are wanting to make mods.

hard to say whether you are posted in a bad place. the main forums for civ5 and civ6 really don't want much discussions of mods and modding, even for play, as I recall.
