I've been using this mod for a while but I didn't bring it to the community because I've been experimenting with the format. (there are also some minor bugs that I don't know how to fix, see below)

This was originally CraftedCart's mod "Is it national?" which shows if a Wonder is Global or National (all credit goes to CraftedCart for the functionality of this mod)

My version expands upon that to give you a quick reference on the entire Production Menu to see what kind of unit / building / wonder you can build.

The current iteration also puts buildings in order based on what era they originate in: 1 means Ancient Era, 2 Classical, etc...

Known Issues: When you Load a game without going to the desktop the icons duplicate. I'm sure there's an easy fix but it's beyond my ability. Please feel free to fix and post a new version.
I also have no idea how much memory this uses, I play on small maps so it's never been an issue for me.

If you have any suggestions for changing which icon represents something feel free to post that too. Sometimes they change and I don't keep up.
And that's it. Enjoy.

Does this only work with stuff in vanilla VP? Or is the icon based on the base building/unit that UB/UU overrides?

It's based on the base unit.
It's really just supposed to give a quick overview so you can find things quicker.

I did a playthrough, it's a very nice mod! Too bad the icon duplication bug can't be fixed. It seems to also duplicate everytime a Trade Unit finishes its route.

Hmm, I've never seen the trade route bug before.
