So the update seems to have caused some interesting things with my game that was started before today. Other than repeated crashes, it also has suddenly caused my science, culture and gold to dramatically skyrocket. Also the size of my capital is a bit.....crazy.
It doesn't show in the picture, but the city size is like 34,200.

I would also blame this on mod use, instead of vanilla update experience.

I had a running game crash interrupted by the update, but upon load nothing significant changed (I use no mods).
It might ofc be a hickup only, but mods tend to cause such issues.

Are you playing on PC? Mac? Consoles? Do you use any mods? More info? Save please?

Given the screenshot quality I would bet on console :p
Dunno, the screen layout is quite different to the Switch. Maybe a PS/Xbox player can play in, but I thought they had the same layout as the Switch, so would have to be PC/Mac/whatever if that's the case. Could just be that they don't know how to do screenshots - I've seen more than one question about getting screenshots on this forum.

Plus judging from his profile saying that he has a bunch of other Civs, I'd say that he has a computer version :)

I did have a mod. The name escapes me at the moment.
I didn’t post in the bug section because I figured it was something like that. I just found it amusing. And screenshot was done with phone camera... easier as I could post while continuing to play.
