UN victory

Saying UN victory was probably the wrong thing, because i lost.
The other countries voted for the Chinese. I am still playing just for the fun of playing and im wondering, Will the UN still convene to vote even though Mao is the current Secretary General?

No the game is over, so no more UN votes, no other victory condition can be met now.

I have won Diplo every time I have gone for it. It is scary on huge maps with 15-12 civs, I always worry that after 40 hours I will lose the vote! You need to be very nice to everyone and keep your rep intact. I gift Resources, Gold, and techs plus having RoPs with everyone

Kumquat, you could win the game before the UN could be built, just stop helping them.

Some players see the UN as a bit of a cop out, its too easy at times. If you are in a position to build it then the turn before, pop round the other Civs and get as many MPPs and ROPs as you cant, gift techs and luxuries until everyone is at least poilte with you and hit the button. I've never lost one yet doing that.
