Unable To Install

I found my Civilization III disc and decided to install it and i tried but it kept stopping at 16% so i tried minimal and it looked like it was working but it just stopped at 22%. I think the file was TransportFidget.

Ill try and get a screenshot of it

On complete it was TransportFidget and on minimal it was TransportRun

So you found it eh? thats good but where was it, on the sidewalk?

Just kiddin but truly Im wondering cuz that Cd sounds like it might be damaged. That can happen especially if you see circular scratches that go most the way around.What you'll notice is on installation the disc gets hung up then drifts to the exact same file a few moments after the drive has gone silent. (stopped)

It can be a host of other things to. It can be a copyright issue. Have you used Shareware Civ3 products in the past? Mybe something to do with a drive problem. Do you have a cd -write program you can copy the disc to the C: file with?.
Best bet while you wait for others with expertise is try searching some threads with the keywords you used here. You'll find plenty of things to try. I just wanted to save you some time if I could, by stating the most obvious reason
