Under minimum requirements

I have a c600 dell laptop. 256Ram, 850MHZ P3. and a 16MB rage 128. The minimum requirements states i need a 32mb card. Would a 16 MB card suffice? I mean, it's just a TBS, i dont need fabulous frames.

i have a 9800 pro in my rig at home but that's a few hundred miles away...

I prefer first hand experience with someone who has tried to run it with this card. Because KOTOR ran on this, but it's below system requirements. (not 32MB and tnl)UT2004 demo also runs on this...

I can barely run lowest with above recommended (not minimal).
I'm pretty sure trying to run this game will blow up your laptop.

By barely run I mean I have jerky gameplay and I just had my computer power down nearing endgame.
They really messed up their requirements, your card isn't an issue. I guess they had bad coding for how to handle the data (units, cities, civs, techs, etc.), so RAM would be the big thing. And I have 1.5gb.

Gah. THe computer I left at home has 768 ram, xp2100, aiw 9800 pro. THat i know can handle this. It just amazes me that a simple TBS would be so demanding. Heck, having just a static screen would be just fine. thanks though, i guess this game is too much to handle
