Understanding Wonder depreciation

Hello,

Sorry if this has been explained elsewhere, if so, I couldn't find it.

It is not clear to me which wonder bonuses are permanent, and which are lost once I enter a new era. Most (all?) wonders have a disclaimer like "Only until Classical Era" in the Civilopedia, but I don't understand which bonuses this applies to. For example, Temple of Artemis looses its 25% production bonus for archery units in the classical era, but seems to keep the +10% food bonus? On the other hand, the Statue of Zeus +25% attack bonus against cities still seems to apply in the classical era, despite the same "Only until Classical Era" disclaimer.

I would appreciate any insights into this. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure those indication are for when you start a new game in a starting age other than ancient. This dictates which wonder you can build.
Like if you start in the industrial era, you can't build Pyramids.

As far as I remember, those bonuses are kept as long as you retain the city with the Wonder.

Thanks for your reply! That would make sense, except that the Temple of Artemis does loose its 25% production bonus for archery units once I progress to the classical era. Maybe that specific wonder is bugged? I will try to test with other wonders.

The only bonus I remember losing any benefit is the Great Wall with Gunpowder. I'd check again with Temple. I think the ranged bonus might only be in that city, whereas the food is for all cities.
