About the UU I think that if you capture a country, (defeat it) you should get their units, like rome used greeks to get their navy good.
And then it don't should be ONE UU, more, cause USA for example have many UUs in the real world. And a flag should be great, for example, at each city it should be an flag on every city, and you could choose from the real flags of the world but don't the other players flag, ex. your France and got germanys flag when you play against germany. and you could even create your own flag or load it from your computer. how about this? I got many more ideas.
