So I've been playing the game on this computer for a couple of years now, and have never had any problems with anything not working correctly.
Just recently, I exited the game I was playing, and started a new game for my nephew to play. He played for a short time, then saved and exited the game. When I returned and tried to load my game, I now get the following series of errors:
Data IO Error:
DataIO operation System Error: DATE
DataIO operation System Error: PLGI
DataIO operation System Error: PLGI
DataIO operation System Error: DATE
DataIO operation System Error: DATE
DataIO operation System Error: CNSL
Load Error:
ERROR READING FILE
C:\Programfiles.... etc... \(Save file: Name, Year.SAV)
What I find interesting is that I can load my nephew's game, and I can load any game I've started since, but I can't load any of dozens of savegames that I've tried to - anything created before my nephew played gives me the same series of errors immediately after loading to about 22%.
Anyone know what might have caused this or how to solve the problem?
