Can someone make a Janissary unit graphic either from scratch or by skinning? It would be ideal if he had a rifle, as Janissary Corps are among the first to utilise rifles in warfare history. Thanks in advance.
It would be cool. Personally, Id like to make units. But Im sure not going to buy a $3000 software. If their is anything cheap, I'll use it to make units.
You're exagerating photoshop is only about $1000 add Lightwave it's still only about $1500, besides there's plenty of fairly good cheap stuff to help with skinning and modeling.
For skinning try paint shop pro, for models milkshape(once we can actually work with the models)

Yeah, but who would use graphics programs you have to pay for, when you could just use GIMP...
For models - when we are able to do them, the plugins will most probably be for professional grade 3D software - ie. 3D Studio, or Maya, both of which cost rather a lot.
I supose they might release a plugin for Blender, or something - we can but hope!
