Goldflash
Civ III Modder, Civ VII Player
Looking Good! And yes... you should make his pants (or maybe just a prt of his pants* Civ, specific. Not enough Color otherwise. Then again, this will be a UU so it doesn't Really mater, but... yeah.
- I think too, that this unit is so specific, that the regular amount of civ-colouring is not necessary

thanks a lot [punch]

though the only good looking place i can imagin would be if you made a bacback or somthing with the imperial symbol on it or somthing
), I think this guy also has very a "feel" to him that he should have a metal gun as well- perhaps you could try it out with that color, and see what it looks like
).
Amaazing! Great job, Kinboat. I say no more civ-specific coloring. Who could confuse this unit?

And a guy with a rifle like that sends this message quite clearly:"WE DON'T WASTE BULLETS"![]()

(It wouldn't bother me if those 4 pixels were dark gray instead of brown..

I agree with you with the first part of that quote, but I strongly disagree with you concerning the last sentence. According to my knowledge only some submachine- and machineguns were completely made of metal. I have not seen any single-shot-rifles made completely of metal (all of them have had a wooden buttstock for example). As a matter of fact, I haven't seen a modern sniper rifle made completely of metal.
So making the weapon completely metal it would make it a very modern soldier.
uh... I think discussion is rather irrelevant.(It wouldn't bother me if those 4 pixels were dark gray instead of brown..

And the M16 was not a bit of wood in it either.
I know before the M16 most if not all of the worlds weapons had a wooden but. Through I think that was more in keeping with tradation then anything else. The only weapons that I know of that did not have wood in them were submachine guns and Machine guns.As a matter of fact, I haven't seen a modern sniper rifle made completely of metal.
