Unit Previews - WW2 units for the SOE scenario

How soon can we expect a beta release of SOE, or at the very least some of your wonderful units?

Additional, can you label some of those tanks. How many different versions of the sherman do you have??

You guys need to hurry up and release these units at least regardless of how long and delayed you guys finish that scenario.

As far as when the mod is released, you'd have to check with Kentonio, recon, stainz or one of the other SOE boys for that. I'm just proiding them with some units.

Man I can not wait for these amazing units.

How can I talk you into posting the sherman. or even just sending it to me for my own private use (no mods no nothing I just want it for my home game) PLEASE!!!!

ripptide: are you making all those units you listed above???? That's alot of units...! Hope you keep the high quality as you have in your other units...

BTW: Who else is making units for this scenario, any other high-quality unit designers?

SOE goes to testing in around a week, not a firm date but reasonably realistic.

Akula is making some of the most beautiful ships I have ever seen for Civ. My brother is providing a number of top quality units. Myself and Recon are also contributing a number of units, Recon has done a quite astonishing number. We will also be using a number of TRT units, the majority of which are already previously released.

I believe its currently something like..

100+ custom units, over 50 brand new.
New custom Palaces.
New modified terrain set based on Snoopy and Womaks work.
New full interface.

How long has the SOE project been going on? Are all the units true 3d or are some 2d and just rotating around?

When you do release it, I think CF should declare a national holiday or something.

Do you guys realise what your doing....you have opened pandoras box. Now we are going to have over a thousand WW2 scenarios and many sleepless nights playing SOE.

Can you imagine if they included Events in the next editor....we would have even more power on how the computer uses this HUGE range of vehicles.

I won't lie....after seeing all those vehicles in one screenshot, I lost a lot of sleep last night.
