I'm tired of having enemy units enter my territory and me having to tell them to leave every turn. In real life a British tank just wouldn't be allowed to roll around near DC, it would be a declaration of war. I say crossing into another Civs territory should be a declaration of war unless there is a right of passage agreement.

no but a more severe then now war is to much plus if im not mistaken there is a british base near DC and an american one near london

@ Colonel: UK and US have limited right of passage agreements!

I am favor of a more extensive right of passage agreement- limiting units, regions of passage allowed.

Rather then automatic declaration of war, i would perfer to let the home country take out the enemy units without automatically causing a war. If the opponent wanted to declare war over that, it would be considered a sneak attack. The home country could also still petition the enemy country to withdraw its units peacefully.

Perhaps, more you requested the enemy units being taking out, without attacking them and the longer they refused the more likely you would be able to build a coalition against them or something.

or how about u can seize them if u have a couple over powering unit and then return them to home country only the home country would dislike you a little also u could seize settlers to

Maybe have some sort of expel option like for a diplomat in civ2 if you had these overpowering units that colonel mentioned?

That ideas dumb. say an ally needs to pass through your territory because of a naval blockade or somother reason. What are you going to do bomb them? Then get your allainces messed.

Besides, you can always bully people into letting your troops through without actually signing an RoP. But it would work even better if you could have one-way RoPs.

Finaly there must be an end to this stupid and irritating AI 's habit.Foreight military forces can't enter another nations land.It is war.
And AI ,don't know why, never asks for a Right of Passage when it wants to cross my land.

I totally agree with you. It gets so annoying! I hope in Civ4 they change that. The AI could LEARN that when you say "GET OFF MY LAND!" you mean it!
