Units embarking on sea

Hi!

Man I'm enjoying this game. Sorry for the newb question, but I can't seem to embark my land units onto the sea. If I remember correctly this should be automatic if you just move them to the sea. I can't find any tech that explains it either. I have a tribal village just sitting on an island taunting me, please help.

Shipbuilding allows it... they cant move over cliffs however.
(and they need their full movement)
(Sailing allows builders to embark)

Thx I had this question too (actually unless Im missed it , they forgot to add an icon in 'shipbuilder')

They are missing a lot of icons

yes you have to mouse over the tech in the tech tree to see stuff like "mathetmatics: +1 naval movemet" or all those civics that give free envoys.
