Unlimited great person loop

In multiplayer... check out the screen on turn 73:



A player disconnected just before I got the wonder which gives you a great person (can't spell it) and I couldn't continue my turn, but I could get unlimited great people... I teched up to nuclear (look at the turn #) because the other players quit when I told them the bug, so I wanted to see how far it could go... didn't have the energy to go future tech.

The person who set the game up picked a few strange settings, and he said he clicked the wrong one by mistake... there was also a lot of lag that game as well... don't know if that was a factor.

I've seen this bug exploited in a game where no one left... It was sick the guy had a GP on every hex on his territory
I don't know how he did it tho... He said it has to do with renaming the city producing the GP with Hagia Sofia or Liberty...
I tried to reproduce several time but I could not

The problem was that I couldn't continue my turn, I didn't know how to stop it from asking me for more great people.

that's interesting maybe something to do with not taking the great scientist until timer goes, then rename the city, still not taking the GP, then you get a second one, take the new one and carry on the steps above ...

I've seen it being done without lags, or disconnection, or anything like this. There was a timer tho so I suspect something is up on that front... Like you can't save social skills unless you wait for the timer to finish and then it's saved until next turn etc etc
