Just bought Civ III - Vanilla.
Installation seemed to go quite smoothly.
When I start the game, I can clearly see the 'Register" and "Read Me" fonts.
When I click the 'Play Civ II" prompt, I get a completely scrambled screen. Then, it clears up and clearly shows the introductory 'movie'. When the movie ends, the video gets all scrambled again. It's so scrambled, that I cannot even successfully do a Ctrl + Alt + Del to exit OUT!
I have Direct X 8.0, so that does not seem to be the problem, and the clarity of the intro movie tells me that the problem is something else.
Can ANYone help me please? Pretty Please?!
