At the moment im trying to play civ 4 on my laptop however it cant handle most aspects of the game. I was just wonderin what new drivers or downloads should i get which will enable me to play it on my laptop.

My display device is a Radeon IGP345M, which needs updating but to what and what else does?

Sorry, but it will not run on that hardware, its below spec. The main problem is main RAM needs to be 512Mb & you have integrated graphics. It may run initially, but as many have discovered, as the game proceeds it needs to process more and more information, it will not do that with any degree of satisfactory performance without a video card

You need to talk to HP I dont know that laptop.

However, keep your expectations down, its an old design and may not take the required upgrade of memory to 512Mb and a card. Also I have a suspicion its a PCI based internal bus - not AGP or PCI-e, if so then its definitely a major upgrade / new buy

You need to make the phone call to HP, without that as a start point, its guess work

If they say an upgrade is feasible, by all means post again for a steer what to do next - many people here will jump in and help
