Updating sound drivers?

Sorry to start a new thread for the same problem but this is a problem in a problem

Many people who have had my problem (in this thread http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=135390 ) have stated that updating their sound drivers helped them...

My question is how? My sound card is a Realtek HD Audio Rear Output. I went to Realtek's site and was completely lost.

Can ne1 help me here? And if u can, please do it as though u were explaining it to a 3 year old because in all honesty i'm border line computer illitterate.

Allright then... I tried finding the driver on the site but i didnt get anywhere, i REALLY need to know the model of you soundcard. The easiest way to do this i suppose is opening your computer case, locate your soundcard (and its easy to find since its the card where you plug you speakerjack in), and look for a few big numbers. Then go to their website, go to downloads in type in the modelnumber.
