Upgrading to C3C

Hi everyone, I just purchased C3C, but I'm in the middle of an epic game that I really want to finish, but I'd like some of the improvements of C3C too. Can I upgrade Civ and then load my game in C3C, or should I finish out the game and then load the upgrade? Thanks


PS: I searched the forums but I couldn't come up with anything along these lines.

I would highly recommend finishing your current game and then upgrading to C3C. While it may work to upgrade and load your old saved file, the results would be ... unpredictable, where unpredictable usually means bad but sometimes means nothing important changes.

Thanks, that's what I'll do then. I really want to try the expansion pack, but my current game is just too good
