Upgrading units in enemy territory

Version: 1.0.0.20 (September, 30th)

I just upgraded two of my Longswordsmen to Riflemen inside the borders of a civ I was at war with.

Though it helped my war effort quite a bit, I felt that something was not quite right..

I wonder if that's related to this bug:

Both could be an error in the game calculating who owns/controls a tile.

Well it was Egypt's Heliopolis. It never changed owners throughout the game as far as i know
