In this there are eight civilizations, two sides of four at war with each other. There are four islands each evenly divided in different arrangements as I'm trying to figure out the best type of urban warfare for my second version of the Libyan Civil War. I found it to be quite fun especially when it comes time to help your allies on the other islands should they begin to lose while carrying on your own island war. Let me know which island is your favorite!

Hmm, I will look at it, but having done some work for the Marine Corps on urban combat, I am not sure that I would call it fun. Highly hazardous to one's health, yes, but not exactly fun, unless you like having a lot of concealed people trying to kill you.

If you're looking to make an urban warfare scenario, a good place to look might be Escape From Zombie Island. Taking away the zombies and the other fiction elements, and you essentially have a scenario where you're fighting across a cityscape, which is I assume what you're looking for. It may also be worth looking for the old "Battle for New York" if you can find it.

@timerover51 - I think he meant fun as in from a gameplay point of view ;)

I understood that he met it from the standpoint of gameplay, but there are times when some of the other work that I do spills over into my view of what is fun or not. For me, an urban warfare game would not be fun.

I apologize Timerover, and thank you for your service. However, I meant tactically, these aren't meant to be ground level, but more district level. Big picture is having urban centers like Benghazi and Tripoli designed to be 'urban' in game showing more value than just one city along the coast, and fighting for them should be a give and take and I'm seeking a best method approach.
