On my Civ 3 Conquests, version 1.0, when I try to enter any multiplayer game from the main multiplayer menue it freezes, and crashes to the desktop. An error box then appears saying I'm low on virtual memory. I've already tried closing all applications and ram-hogs. Please help ASAP.

Well, as long as you only have civ open, virtual memory shouldn't be a problem. :hmm: How much RAM do you have? Also, try upgrading to v1.22 for Conquests if you can. (Most MP games are in that anyway).

Hmm..then I'm not sure.

If you are using WinXP, press control + alt + delete, and click the "Preformance" tab. How much CPU is your computer running? If it constantly stays at 100% (or 99%, etc.), check which application uses it. Try rebooting also.

Nope. It just won't work. I've rebooted dozens of times, and I've made sure that the CPU usage level thingy is always low before I start. Guess it's just an act of god.

Oh and the game will freeze right from the main "select a multiplayer mode" meneu. It's not when I try to enter one specific game. It's when I try to even get to where I can select a game.
