Useless Advisors

?? yes you could...
Yeah, I know now, by press Alt+U or something like that. But where was that shortcut command documented?

And if there's a similar command in Civ4, what is it and where is it documented? Players shouldn't have to come to these forums to learn commands that should be included and explained in the game's manual.

But there's still the problem of not being able to sort your units from the Military Advisor screen by city or unit type, and select individual units. I reiterate, the MA in Civ4 is USELSS!

This is vaguely related to the City Advisor, but do garrisoned units act as "military police" or whatever you call it when you use military units to render unhappy citizens content. Is that in Civ4? Because I don't see any :) on my garrisoned units to indicate that, which is why I presume they've lost that ability. If so, I think that's a terrible idea. You should still be able to use military police under certain Civic types. I believe that the Nationhood civic gives +2 :) for a Barracks, which I suppose is the equivalent of having 2 Military Police in Civ3.

One of civics does that, +1 :) for military units. Another civic gives +1 :) for barracks.

as far as I can remember anyway...

I find the stats and charts to be nice, if not terribly useful for gameplay purposes. :D
